Why we do, What we do

We believe that housing gives individuals the essential support needed to reach a high level of self-sufficiency and become or continue to be contributing members of our community.

Golden West Alternative Living was created to do our small part in helping to solve the housing crisis for individuals who may be housing insecure or are seeking assistance in obtaining temporary or longer term housing.

We are ready and able to serve several different groups of housing insecure community members including income and/or credit challenged individuals, veterans in need, adults in transition, and aged-out foster care young adults. While we will serve those in transition we also welcome and serve those on limited or fixed incomes.

We look forward to working with non-profits, social workers, and 3rd party organizations in assisting with providing your clients with all inclusive affordable living. The personal and physical well-being of your clients is our priority. We are aware that members that are referred by organizations may need additional services, we allow 3rd party service providers access to the home on a need basis.

In achieving our goal of providing a great living alternative within a home environment for our house members, we hope to make a positive impact on our community.
